Very Big Company Project

Very Big Company research lessons, presentation and report framework

Oral presentation: This is a 10-minute trade show--props, costumes, visuals, may be  encouraged or required, but the focus remains, “What my country can offer the multi-national corporation.” Students will decide whether to go after the car factory, the food processing plant or both (they may find a weakness in one area that keeps them from going after one of the factories). Oral reports, as well as the written report, should specify which city the factory will be near, as well as detailing all that their country has to offer as well as exposing the political and economic deficiencies of their neighbors.

Written report: Each group will produce a written report, of 5 – 10 pages, depending on the size of group and research experience. The written report should follow the requirements for the presentation. It is important that each student identify his/her role in the group and take credit for a specific part of the report.

  • Research binder (individual grade): 20 points
