Author's note: This is a poem, which, to me, symbolizes my real feelings that I had or still have and that I have just put into written form.

Sometimes I feel sad
cause my life is so bad.

I dream of a better way,
to live; to succeed.

My life is worthless
you may think that is
pathetic but hey you ain't me!

I dream of a life
were i am not judged or stereotyped
were i am of many striving to make a
place in this world for themselves.

You don't know me,
don't judge me
because of what you've heard,
it hurts.

Your actions have consequences,
they are my pain and they
will affect me for the rest of my life.

The worse pain is in distant memories
that are deeply embedded in my brain,
recalling themselves from time to time
invoking emotions I care not to have
over and over again.
